Monika Skomra — Jewellery as Sculptural Intimacy

Monika Skomra — Jewellery as Sculptural Intimacy

(Now at TFH Concept Store, Szpitalna 8, Warsaw)

Monika Skomra is a graduate of the Painting Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw — an artist drawn to objects shaped directly by human hands.
After years of searching for an artistic language that could express her values, she found her path in jewellery.
Creating pieces that stay close to the body, she builds objects that accompany everyday rituals, becoming carriers of memory, emotion, and presence.

Her studio in Warsaw is where every piece is designed and handcrafted.
Nothing leaves her workshop without her touch: from concept, through forming and soldering, to the final finish.
She thinks of her jewellery as small sculptural forms — objects positioned delicately between art and functionality.

Sustainability is an essential part of her practice.
Monika works with recycled silver, produces mainly to order, and consciously limits waste.
Many of her pieces are universal, gender-neutral, and inclusive.
Some designs have limited sizing due to their sculptural structure, but she approaches each request individually — adapting or creating pieces tailored to the wearer.

For those seeking something deeply personal, she also creates bespoke designs, always within the artistic language she cultivates daily.

If you have any questions or wish to discuss a custom piece, Monika welcomes you to reach out.
