Chi-Chi Ude is a designer of clothes and stage costumes. Her creative clothing art is characterised by repetitive geometric patterns, colour contrast and a minimalist form. Known primarily for patterned suits, in which she makes a unique use of Dutch wax inspired by African design. She draws inspiration from playing with symmetry, thereby expressing her delight with the intensity of life in multicultural cities. The artist has been encompassing the sparkling mix of colours and patterns in ascetic forms of coats, jackets and tunics. She also creates stage designs, clothing and interior design projects. Through her artistic work, Chi-Chi Ude invites her customers to a joyful celebration of life.
